ACN is a pontifical foundation established in 1947 that supports the Church wherever it is persecuted, oppressed, or lacks resources to carry out its pastoral mission. ACN works through prayer, information, and material aid.

As a charitable organisation, ACN is committed to the New Evangelization, striving to strengthen and deepen the Catholic Faith, especially in places where it is at risk of disappearing.

Today, ACN is a major international organisation supported by more than 350,000 benefactors, funding nearly 5,000 pastoral projects annually in about 140 countries. ACN’s international headquarters is located in Königstein im Taunus, Germany. The foundation has 24 national offices across Europe, Asia, Oceania, North America, and South America, dedicated to fundraising efforts.
