Ecuador: the Sisters of the Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament need a new house

The district is known as Milagro – “Miracle” – and this is where the area known as Cien Camas – “a hundred beds” – is located in San Jacinto de Yaguachi Diocese. Of course a hundred beds are far more than the Sisters of the Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament need themselves; their three beds are enough for them. But in this area of Ecuadormisery is everywhere, which is why the three Sisters Mariet, Tissy and Teresa need a small miracle. At present they are living in a tiny flat that was actually intended for the parish priest. He is supposed to come and live there permanently, so that the parish can grow and flourish, and the faithful have regular access to the sacraments.

For that it happens the Sisters would have to move out, but where would they go to? They need somewhere they can live out their vocation. The plan is to build a small house on a plot that is available next door to the Church of the Divine Mercy. It could be built within five months, but the diocese is too poor to be able to build the house on its own. We can make this “miracle” happen. In doing so, we would enable the Sisters to live their charism: to adore Christ in the Eucharist, and to reach out to the poor and the sick. And this love will produce the real miracles – of conversion, forgiveness and reconciliation.
