ACN supports the Catholic Church in India, which offers those who suffer a life of rejection a rare opportunity for respite and recognition. The experience of God, who gave His life for mankind, allows a powerful understanding of a human dignity that is common to everyone.
Our help focuses on the needs of the local Church through construction projects, subsistence aid for religious, catechetical training, assistance with transportation, and Mass stipends.
The witness of the priest, the sister, and the catechist is a beacon of hope for those who depend on the social and spiritual support of the Church. Let us help them in their mission!
The Church in India is of the poor and for the poor. Thanks to their Catholic faith, the Dalits understand their dignity as sons and daughters of God. The experience of a merciful God who gave His life for them reveals to them a new dimension of life. However, for them, embracing Christianity often leads to further exclusion and harassment.
Their faith is all that poor Indian Christians have – it strengthens them, despite all the suffering and discrimination.
Let their faith inspire yours and let your prayers strengthen theirs. Thanks to your prayers, our Christian brothers and sisters in India can feel as part of the universal Church!
Christians in India: discriminated, poor, excluded.
They are tested in faith. We are tested in love.
Share their witness of faith and let it inspire your family and friends!
